Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose.

What is it?

The FutureReady Challenge is a national, student-driven competition that invites high school students and teachers to explore what it truly means to be future ready. It sparks meaningful conversations across classrooms about confidence, capability, connection, and the real pathways that help young people move toward purposeful futures.

Students design a “quest” based on their own ideas of future readiness. They can use AI as a tool, but the challenge is not about AI itself. It’s about thinking intentionally, exploring emerging opportunities, and learning how technology can support real-world career exploration.

Every participant walks away with resources on safe and responsible tech use, research-backed insights on future readiness, and structured reflection prompts that deepen learning between students and teachers. Submissions feed into a national FutureReady Impact Brief that uplifts student and teacher voices.

Finalists receive a unique real-world experience: they work directly with Hope Street Group’s product and design teams to develop their quest inside the FutureMe platform. They also meet with real professionals through the FutureReady Exchange Network to practice social capital–building skills.

At its core, the FutureReady Challenge is about passing the mic to students and educators, elevating youth voices, and shaping a national conversation on what young people need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
